Sustainable Financing for Protected Areas


A side event, Sustainable Financing for Protected Areas, hosted by WCS and IUCN, on behalf of the CFA, was held at the Convention on Biological Diversity Conference of the Parties (COP-7). The event took place on February 12, 2004 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The event examined current opportunities and challenges in sustainable financing for protected areas, based on the themes and outcomes of the Sustainable Finance Stream.
