The 7th edition of the Conservation Trust Investment Survey (CTIS) was presented at IUCN's World Parks Congress, in Sydney, Australia, on November 17tth, 2014. The event took place at the Conservation Finance Pavilion and was hosted by Ray Victurine and Katy Mathias, from the Wildflife Conservation Society (WCS).
The presentation happenned during the Conservation Trust Funds day at the CFA Pavilion (organized by the CFA Secretariat) when all activities were fully related to the role, importance, dynamics and challenges involving CTFs. The diversity of institutions and sectors represented in the audience contributed to a richer debate, which was led by the main speakers.
About the report
The report overs the performance of Conservation Trust Funds during the calendar year of 2013 and relies on information provided by 43 Funds from Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe, Asia and Oceania about endowments and sinking funds.
