CFA SPONSORS

The CFA network is maintained by generous financial and in kind contributions from its members. CFA sponsors support the secretariat structure and thematic projects.

KfW - German Development Bank
KfW has granted a total of USD 162.765,50 for the CFA. It has supported the 1st CAFE Assembly, held in Tanzania in September 2011, the collection of documents and database development of the CFA Environmental Funds Tool Kit and the development of the Analytical Paper Distinctive Features of Regional Conservation Trust Funds. In 2013, it is also supporting the Quality Standards for CTFs study. In 2014, KfW supported the CFA Pavilion at IUCN World Parks Congress. Most part of KfW contributions are made on behalf of the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). Thank you, KfW!

MAVA Foundation
The MAVA Foundation has granted the CFA USD 145.007,00 for Operational Network Support from 2011 to 2013. It has also supported the Practice Standards for Conservation Trust Funds study. Thank you, MAVA!

FFEM - Fonds Français pour l'Environnement Mondial
FFEM has granted the CFA a total of USD 85.714,00. It has supported the 1st CAFE Assembly, held in Tanzania in September 2011 and the African Funds Meeting, held in Senegal in September 2010, It has also partially covered the conference calls costs from the African Environmental Funds Committee. FFEM supported the development of four CFA publications: CTIS Survey (2007-2008), CTIS Survey (2009), Rapid Review on Conservation Trust Funds and Study Comparative Advantages of Conservation Trust Funds and Project Approach to Support Protected Areas Systems. FFEM has also supported the CFA Pavilion at IUCN World Parks Congress. Thank you, FFEM!

Linden Trust for Conservation
The Linden Trust for Conservation has supported the CFA with USD 75.000,00 for the Study "Comparative Advantages of Conservation Trust Funds and Project Approach to Support Protected Areas Systems". The institution has supported the development of the Practice Standards for CTFs study and the CFA Secretariat from 2013-2014. Thank you, Linden Trust!

Acacia II Partners LP
Acacia II Partners LP has granted USD 50.000,00 for the developed of the CTIS - Conservation Trust Fund Investment Survey (2010). Thank you, Acacia Partners!

AfD - French Development Agency
AfD, or the French Development Agency, has granted USD 43.000,00 to the CFA, more specifically for the African Funds Meeting in Senegal, held in September 2010 and for the development of the publication "Rapid Review on Conservation Trust Funds". It has also supported the CFA Pavilion at IUCN World Parks Congress. Thank you, AfD!

WWF - World Wide Fund For Nature
WWF has granted a total of USD 42.600,00 to support the 1st CAFE Assembly, held in Tanzania in September 2011 and the African Funds Meeting, held in Senegal in September 2010, besides partially covering the conference call costs for the African Environmental Funds Committee. WWF has also supported the development of the publication Rapid Review on Conservation Trust Funds and the Practice Standards for CTFs study. Thank you, WWF!

Conservation International
CI has contributed with USD 40.820,00 in total to support the CFA Secretariat in its operational role and also for the publication "National REDD+ funding frameworks and achieving REDD+ readiness". CI also supported the Practice Standards for Conservation Trust Funds study and CFA Pavilion at the World Parks Congress. Thank you, CI!

The World Bank
The World Bank has granted the CFA a total of USD 30.000,00 for the support of the Practice Standards for Conservation Trust Funds study. Thank you, World Bank!

WCS - Wildlife Conservation Society
WCS has supported the publication "National REDD+ funding frameworks and achieving REDD+ readiness" with a grant of USD 22.000,00. It has supported the CFA Secretariat, from 2013-2014 and the CFA Pavilion at the World Parks Congress. Thank you, WCS!

The Global Environment Facility
The Global Environment Facility (GEF) has granted the CFA USD 15.000,00 in 2013 for the support of the Practice Standards for Conservation Trust Funds study. It has also supported CFA Pavilion at the World Parks Congress. Thank you, the GEF!

AFCoF - Atlantic Forest Conservation Fund
AFCoF has contributed with USD 12.000,00 for the development and launch of the publication "National REDD+ funding frameworks and achieving REDD+ readiness". Thank you, AFCoF!
